Required Learning:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Logistics/Inventory Management
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as supervisor/manager
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ previous experience in a pharmaceutical w/h environment
  • Pharmacist assistant certificate would be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy:  MS Office & Oracle
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in transportation / road freight.
  • Customer services experience.
  • Experience in facilities management.
  • HR/IR experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience (OHSE) to ensure compliance with GDP, safety, environmental & housekeeping in the warehouse.

 


Key Outputs :

  • To plan utilisation of resources, human and equipment, within the warehouse
  • To manage planning, resource allocation, and inter-departmental liaison.
  • To implement and train on SOP’s & GDP to ensure quality and safety awareness.
  • Control stock losses and accuracy through regular cycle counts
  • To introduce measurement systems in the warehouse to improve labour efficiencies.
  • To initiate continuous improvement in the warehouse.
  • Oversee all functions in the w/h – receiving, admin, dispatch, returns.
  • Fill in for senior management in their absence.
  • Managing budgets, and coordinating schedules, inventory, and supplies
  • Meet regularly with management to report and plan strategic plans for team objectives.
  • Track performance and conduct employee reviews
  • Help build a well-developed and high-performing team that works together collaboratively.
  • Key holder and emergency call out duties and after hour maintenance.
  • Regular attendance to customer’s queries and resolution.
  • Establish good relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper functioning of all equipment and systems in the warehouse.
  • Ensure productivity standards are maintained to achieve set SLAs within the organization.
